Stamp-a-ma-jig Tutorial
Written by Susan M. Trask for smARTworks
The
jig is a small, one-piece tool that comes with a semi-transparent, re-useable, plastic imaging sheet,
or PIS.
The purpose of
the PIS is to serve as a preview guide for positioning images. Since the preview image
is stamped directly onto
the PIS, it is important to use inks which will wipe off easily... Do not use Staz-on!
(Our preview ink of choice
is Versafine -- It gives a detailed image, with effortless removal.)
Slide the PIS into the "L" of the jig. You want a snug fit, with the
edges of the PIS butting right up against the jig.
