Hello everyone. My name is Peggy Lamb and I live in the beautiful State of Maine. My husband Mike and I have been married for 4 years
and have a sweet golden retriever named Maisy.
I started rubber stamping over 10 years ago, after visiting a local independent craft
store, but didn’t really get “serious” about it until the past 5 or 6 years. I love creating something that can be finished within
an hour or so and sent off for someone to enjoy. I have a room devoted to paper crafting and when I am in “the zone” I relax completely
and have a great time with my stamps, paper and embellishments. I meet weekly with a small group of friends to stamp, which is a lot
of fun and provides much inspiration. I consider myself very lucky to live in an area with several independent stamp/scrapbooking
shops where I have been able to take many classes. I like to think that my stamping group and the classes keep me growing as a stamper.
My
other hobbies are gardening and cooking/baking. I grow lots of flowers and also have a good sized vegetable garden. There is a lot
of satisfaction in growing your own vegetables, then creating a meal with them.
Hi!! My name is Giovana Smith.
I was born and raised in Peru, a beautiful small country in South America. While in Peru I was an obstetrician. Since
it is a profession I love, I hope one day I can
return to the medical field.
I met my husband, David, online in 2000.
We talked a lot about mission work, and we were just
friends sharing God's word until we fell in love. We got married in Peru,
in July 2002. I moved to
the United States in October 2002. Language has been my little problem... sometimes it is
so
difficult to express what I really want to say, but I do my best. We have a little girl, who is 4 years
old. She is
an unbelievable talker (non-stop) sweet, funny, and sometimes crazy. She loves to
make cards too!!! I homeschool her,
and we both learn together.
I grew up creating my own crafts. I always loved making my own doll's dresses, drawing, knitting
and cross stitching. Three years ago I found, and fell in love with handmade cards. Since then, I
haven't stopped papercrafting,
and every day I like to try something different. Almost 2 years ago
I was invited to a SU party, and I still continue attending
the monthly stamping time. I love
spending a couple of hours stamping with other ladies and having fun.
