Hi!! My name is Giovana Smith. I was born and raised in Peru, a beautiful small country in South America. While
in Peru I was an obstetrician. Since it is a profession I love, I hope one day I can
return to the medical field.
I met
my husband, David, online in 2000. We talked a lot about mission work, and we were just
friends sharing God's word until we
fell in love. We got married in Peru, in July 2002. I moved to
the United States in October 2002. Language
has been my little problem... sometimes it is so
difficult to express what I really want to say, but I do my best. We have a
little girl, who is 4 years
old. She is an unbelievable talker (non-stop) sweet, funny, and sometimes crazy. She loves
to
make cards too!!! I homeschool her, and we both learn together.
I grew up creating my own crafts. I always loved
making my own doll's dresses, drawing, knitting
and cross stitching. Three years ago I found, and fell in love with handmade
cards. Since then, I
haven't stopped papercrafting, and every day I like to try something different. Almost 2 years ago
I was invited to a SU party, and I still continue attending the monthly stamping time. I love
spending a couple of hours stamping
with other ladies and having fun.
If I were a real cookie, I would say I'd be a Raisin Cookie... soft and sweet, nothing
extravagant,just something you can enjoy.
