Trio stamps create the illusion of a 3-dimensional image through the process of stamping 3 separate layers.
A stamp positioner such
as the Stamp-a-ma-jig is a must for lining up these images accurately…beyond that, all that’s left is to experiment and
find colors that work together to give you the dimensional effect that you need. The possibilities are endless!

Stamping Tutorial

For the Basic Process of Layering, choose 1-3 colors of
ink...
A. Using one ink pad, you can vary the intensity of the color in each
layer by stamping off some ink onto scrap paper.
Example:
1st
Layer -- use solid image -- Ink rubber, stamp off twice onto scrap, then onto
cardstock.
2nd
Layer -- use med. detailed image -- Ink rubber, stamp off once onto scrap,
then
stamp over the first layer.
3rd Layer -- use most detailed image -- Ink rubber, then stamp directly over the
first and second layers.
B. With some images you may choose to stamp in two colors of ink --
the process is similar to that used in option A.
Example:
Using color #1, and the solid image, stamp off once for the first layer.
Still
using color #1, stamp image two directly over the first layer.
Using
color #2 (a slightly darker ink) and image three, stamp directly over the
first
and second layers.
